Authors from all creative sectors from throughout Europe will be in Brussels on 30 May to meet with the high-level decision makers that are set to influence their day-to-day lives over the next years.
60 years after the Rome treaty was signed, a strong European identity, united in diversity, is more important than ever to counter rising extremism and intolerance. Creators are central to this effort through their binding nature and as an economic force for the creation of jobs and growth throughout the continent.
It is crucial that decision makers take steps that reflect the creative sector's importance, and work towards ensuring its future.
The copyright reform is the opportunity to do this.
Participation is by invitation only. For more information, go to www.meettheauthors.eu
